Socket

What is a Socket?

A Socket, also known as a Coupling, is a cylindrical fitting produced using investment casting, designed to connect two pipes in a straight line. The connection can be made using threaded ends, socket welds, or butt welds, depending on the system’s pressure, temperature, and maintenance needs.

Due to its compact design, smooth finish, and high dimensional accuracy, investment casting sockets are widely used in sanitary, chemical, marine, and precision-engineered fluid systems.
